After the 1st of April Monument joke done by Medialink Communications, the Times Online have reported the Priminister's Joke to the Pope which was absolutely out of context and inappropriate during this moment in time. Gonzi told the Pope that he hoped that the ash cloud which is currently causing air traffic chaos in Europe would delay his departure tomorrow, thus giving him time to visit Gozo. Giovanna would have been surely delighted! The Holy Father smiled but did not reply. What an appropriate joke to crack when Europe is facing such enormous losses due to this natural phenomenon. Gonzi must surely take a couple of lessons on protocol and etiquette!
