Solidarity with Labour Mps.

In this dark page in Maltese political history i wish to express my solidarity with the Labour Mps who suffered such undemocratic and vile attacks last Thursday night in Parliament during the Delimara power station extension vote.
Deputy Prime Minister Toni Borg lied in front of thousands of Maltese citizens who were eagerly listening to the debate that Justyne Caruana voted No for the motion presented by LP. How low can this government go! Tonio Borg did not bother that Justyne Caruana is pregnant and that with his vicious lie she was emotionally and in a way also physically negatively effected.
These are the angli tal-paci, these are the paladini tad-demokrazija u liberta'!
With this shameful move the Nationalist government has ridiculed our highest legislative institution, scattering into pieces public faith in it.
Dr Carmelo Abela's resignation from Deputy Speaker of the House was a very symbolic one and it showed the government that the Opposition must be respected and that such undemocratic moves are only performed in totalitarian regimes!
Solidarity with Labour Mps, we are all behind you, never surrender to comedies of such a bunch of bullies!
